We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and digitally savvy Senior Marketing Officer to lead our event marketing, media partnerships, and corporate branding efforts. This is a remote role based in India, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a real impact on both campaign-level and company-wide marketing initiatives. ROLE OVERVIEW This is a full-time (40 hours/week) contract-based remote role for a Senior Marketing Officer. As a Senior Marketing Officer, you will take full ownership of end-to-end event marketing strategies while also driving corporate brand awareness. From email campaigns and social media to media collaborations and corporate positioning, you’ll lead initiatives that boost visibility, drive registrations and sales, and enhance our global brand presence. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Event Marketing (Campaign Ownership) Plan and execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns for each event—including content, email, digital ads, and social media. Manage campaign timelines, customer journeys, and lead-generation funnels. Optimize audience acquisition, conversions, and campaign ROI based on data-driven insights. Segment and manage mailing lists, testing strategies, and performance tracking via CRM/automation tools. Media Partnerships Identify and negotiate media partnerships with trade publications, associations, influencers, and digital platforms. Oversee partnership deliverables (banners, ads, eDMs, listings, interviews, etc.) and maintain long-term partner relationships. Explore barter and strategic collaborations to expand audience reach. Corporate Branding & Marketing Drive the company’s brand identity across all touchpoints (online and offline). Create and maintain consistent visual and messaging guidelines for internal and external communication. Develop branding assets (e.g., brochures, company deck, branding toolkit, video scripts, social visuals, etc.). Work closely with leadership to position the company as a thought leader in the MICE / Life Sciences space. Cross-Team Collaboration Coordinate with production, sales, and operations to ensure marketing supports lead goals, exhibitor/sponsor value, and speaker engagement. Provide creative and strategic input for event positioning, naming, content promotion, and audience targeting. Analytics & Reporting Monitor KPIs, generate post-campaign and event performance reports, and offer actionable insights. Analyze competitor marketing activities and identify new ideas for innovation and improvement. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related field. 4–5 years of experience in event marketing, brand management, or digital marketing, preferably in MICE, B2B events, or media environments Strong portfolio or examples of past successful event campaigns and/or brand initiatives. Skills & Tools Campaign management (email automation, social media, ad platforms) CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot, Mailchimp) Graphic coordination with design teams (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite basics) Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, Meta/LinkedIn Ads, and content optimization Excellent writing and visual communication skills Personal Attributes Strategic thinker with strong executional follow-through Confident in managing multiple deadlines and stakeholders Proactive, creative, self-managed, and performance-driven Collaborative across global teams and adaptable in a remote setting
