Role Description This full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive is located in Kerala, India. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, and account management. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential business opportunities, managing relationships with clients, and developing strategies to drive business growth. The candidate will also communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Student Advising Provide one-on-one counseling to students interested in studying abroad. Help students identify suitable programs based on academic goals, career aspirations, and personal interests. Application Support Assist with application forms, documentation, and deadlines. Guide students through visa processes and scholarship applications. Program Coordination Liaise with international universities and program providers. Organize information sessions, workshops, and pre-departure orientations. Ongoing Support Offer support during students’ time abroad, including troubleshooting and academic guidance. Maintain communication with students and institutions to ensure smooth transitions. Marketing & Outreach Promote study abroad programs through events, digital platforms, and campus activities. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials. Data & Reporting Track student progress and maintain records of applications and outcomes. Provide feedback and reports to improve program offerings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or related field (Master’s preferred) 2+ years of experience in academic advising or international education Familiarity with global education systems, visa regulations, and cultural adaptation Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Experience studying or working abroad is a plus
Key Responsibilities 1. Work Compliance Strict adherence to the organization's policies, including punctuality and attendance as per the designated schedule. Accurate submission and receipt of Travel Allowances (TA) and Daily Allowances (DA) as per company procedures. Consistent display of the assigned ID card and uniform to maintain professionalism. Upholding workplace discipline by following company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and conduct. 2. Academic Coordination Oversee and streamline academic activities, including scheduling, curriculum implementation, and faculty support. Ensure alignment between academic objectives and operational execution. 3. Institute Guidance and Support Provide strategic guidance and support to faculty, staff, and students on both academic and operational matters. Mentor and train staff to ensure adherence to policies and continuous performance improvement. 4. Academic Planning & Materials Distribution Lead the planning and timely distribution of academic materials. Manage inventory and procurement of educational supplies to ensure availability when needed. 5. Examination Oversight Supervise the planning, scheduling, and execution of examinations. Ensure compliance with guidelines and handle complex issues related to examinations. 6. Center Visits (As Needed) Conduct visits to academic centers or branches to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions based on the findings from these visits. 7. Internal & External Coordination Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless operations across the organization. Represent the organization in meetings and events, fostering strong relationships with internal and external parties. 8. Reporting & Documentation Prepare detailed and accurate reports on operational and academic activities for internal review. Maintain proper documentation to ensure compliance with auditing and regulatory requirements. 9. Quality Assurance Monitor processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards across academic and operational activities. Lead initiatives aimed at improving performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. 10. Sales & Account Monitoring Track sales reports and account processes to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. 11. Re-registration Process Management Oversee the re-registration process for students, ensuring it is efficient and compliant with institutional guidelines. 12. Ad Hoc Tasks and Responsibilities Perform activities and tasks assigned by management based on organizational needs or special occasions. Follow any additional policies and instructions provided by management for ad hoc tasks. Demonstrate flexibility and commitment in handling additional responsibilities as required. Qualifications · Education : Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). · Experience : Minimum 3–5 years in academic coordination, operations, or administrative roles. · Skills : o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. o Proficiency in MS Office and academic management systems. o Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
