The role requires hands-on experience in fruit sales or exotic fruit handling , with a strong understanding of fresh produce markets, inventory planning, and supply chain dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Drive sales of avocados across wholesale, retail, and B2B channels (domestic & export). Manage key accounts including distributors, retailers, and institutional buyers. Create pricing strategies based on competitor analysis, seasonality, and demand trends. Identify new market opportunities and lead product launch strategies. Collaborate with marketing to build the avocado category as a premium health product. Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Forecast demand and align procurement with seasonal and sales cycles. Monitor daily inventory and ensure optimal stock movement across locations. Coordinate with sourcing and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and product quality. Minimize wastage through efficient rotation and storage practices. Implement tools for real-time stock visibility and reporting. Product Quality & Packaging: Maintain consistency in ripeness, size, and quality across SKUs. Work with packaging teams to develop sustainable, consumer-friendly packaging. Oversee post-harvest and ripening processes for quality assurance. Data Analysis & Reporting: Track SKU-wise sales, margins, and inventory movement. Share weekly/monthly performance dashboards with key stakeholders. Recommend actionable strategies to increase profitability and reduce wastage. Candidate Profile: Education: Bachelors in Agriculture, Business, Supply Chain, or related fields MBA preferred Experience: 4 -7 years in fresh produce, fruits, or agri-business sector Must have experience in fruits sales or handling exotic fruits Strong exposure to cold chain logistics and perishable inventory Track record in sales growth and vendor/customer relationship management Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills Analytical mindset with strong Excel and ERP knowledge Familiarity with quality standards like GLOBALG.A.P., HACCP is a plus Knowledge of global sourcing regions like Peru, Kenya, Mexico preferred Important: Only candidates with proven experience in fruit sales or exotic fruit category will be shortlisted.
