IFRS17 SME, Actuarial Life Valuation

Role Overview: You are sought after to join the Chubb Life actuarial team as an IFRS17 specialist. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with IFRS17, enhancing reporting processes, and providing insights into financial performance. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse and interpret IFRS17 requirements and ensure compliance across various Chubb Life entities. - Collaborate with actuarial, finance, and IT teams in Asia to implement/refine and enhance IFRS17 reporting systems and processes. - Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS17 standards. - Develop and maintain documentation related to IFRS17 methodologies and assumptions. - Provide training and support to internal stakeholders and team members on IFRS17 concepts and reporting requirements. - Monitor changes in IFRS17 standards and assess their impact on the financial reporting for Chubb Life entities. - Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations related to IFRS17. - Participate in audits and liaise with internal and external auditors regarding IFRS17 compliance. Qualifications Required: - Actuarial professional with at least 6-8 exams and over 8 years of experience from a recognized actuarial institute. - Proven experience in actuarial financial reporting with a focus on IFRS17. - Experience with IFRS17 transformation projects will be advantageous. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with R or Python is advantageous. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or Statistics.,
