Knowledge about IOT & PLC would be an added advantage. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of proven sales experience in B2B industrial environments, with strong knowledge of sensor technologies and applications. A key responsibility will be to maintain and develop key accounts across the West Bengal region , ensuring high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships. This role requires strategic thinking and market development capabilities to identify new opportunities and expand our regional footprint. The candidate will also demonstrate strong leadership qualities to support and mentor junior sales team members while aligning with the broader sales strategy. Responsibilities: Support the Sales Team with on-site customer visits to resolve product and application-related issues. Provide hands-on product demonstrations and simulations for customer applications. Develop lab and test equipment for simulation of customer’s applications and performing product warranty evaluation. Respond to customer queries via phone, email or in-person interactions. Travel across India to support our growing customer base. Qualification: Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics or related fields. 3+ years of experience in an industrial environment preferred. Hands-on experience with: PLC programming and interfacing of field devices, Vision Sensors, Vibration testing equipment, and lab test equipment. Experience of working with various industrial protocols like Ethernet IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP, Ethercat. Installation and integration of IO-Link devices and Software. Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills to provide customers with value-added support that makes the team at ifm unique in the sensor business. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows, with experience in ERP/CRM systems preferred.
