JOB DESCRIPTION The individual will managing a wide range of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Key responsibilities include handling the full hiring process from job descriptions to onboarding, mediating employee concerns, assisting with performance management, and providing support for benefits and HR policies. Core responsibilities Recruitment and onboarding: Manage the entire hiring process, including writing job descriptions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and processing new hires. Employee relations: Act as a liaison between employees and management, addressing employee concerns, grievances, and workplace conflicts to maintain a positive environment. HR policy and compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. This includes updating policies as needed and ensuring compliance through audits. Performance management: Support managers with the performance appraisal process, goal setting, and employee development initiatives. Benefits and payroll: Assist with administering benefits, such as health insurance and retirement plans, and support payroll processing. Administrative tasks: Maintain employee records, handle administrative tasks for onboarding and exit interviews, and manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data. Required skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively handle employee relations. Knowledge of HR best practices and a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
