Job Profile: Accountant (Dubai & UK Accounting Experience) Ahmedabad Position: Senior Accountant / International Accounting Executive Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Experience Required: 35 years (with mandatory experience in UAE and/or UK accounting) Employment Type: Full-time / On-site About the Role We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong exposure to Dubai (UAE) and UK accounting practices , including VAT compliance, bookkeeping standards, and international reporting. The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage daily accounting operations, prepare financial statements, coordinate with international clients, and ensure compliance with regional tax laws. Key Responsibilities 1. UAE / Dubai Accounting Manage books of accounts per UAE accounting standards Prepare and file UAE VAT returns Reconcile bank accounts, supplier ledgers, and customer statements Ensure compliance with FTA (Federal Tax Authority) guidelines Handle documentation for imports/exports and GCC transactions 2. UK Accounting Maintain accounts according to UK GAAP / HMRC compliance Prepare VAT returns (MTD – Making Tax Digital) Prepare year-end adjustments, prepayments, depreciation, accruals Handle customer/supplier reconciliation in GBP Collaborate with UK accountants for finalization & audits 3. General Accounting (India + International) Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger Create and review financial reports, P&L, Balance Sheet Process invoices, payments, and expense tracking Manage payroll entries and statutory compliance Prepare monthly MIS reports Handle multi-currency accounting (INR/AED/GBP) 4. Tools & Software Knowledge Candidates should know one or more of the following: Tally ERP / Tally Prime Zoho Books / Zoho Inventory / Zoho Payroll QuickBooks Online (UAE/UK versions) Xero (UK) Sage Accounting (UK) Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reconciliation tools) Required Skills Strong understanding of UAE VAT and UK VAT rules Good command over international accounting standards Experience with multi-currency transactions Strong analytical and reconciliation skills Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) Ability to work independently with overseas teams Educational Qualification B.Com / M.Com CA Inter / ACCA (Preferred, not mandatory) Additional certification in International Accounting is an advantage Salary Range Based on experience: 25,000 to 60,000 per month (higher for candidates with extensive Dubai/UK exposure)
