This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and operational integrity of high-speed transportation systems through advanced surveillance technologies. You will be responsible for the design, installation, integration, and maintenance of CCTV and video surveillance systems across our Hyperloop facilities and test tracks. Key Responsibilities:Design & Implementation: Design end-to-end CCTV systems tailored to high-speed transit and infrastructure environments. Select appropriate hardware (cameras, NVRs, VMS, network switches, etc.) considering environmental, operational, and cybersecurity requirements. Oversee installation and commissioning of CCTV systems in stations, pods, maintenance bays, control centers, and along the tube infrastructure. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure minimal downtime. Coordinate with vendors and support teams for hardware and software resolution. Integration & System Management: Integrate CCTV systems with SCADA, Access Control, AI-based video analytics, and other critical subsystems. Qualifications & Skills:Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field. Certifications in CCTV Systems, IP Surveillance, or related technologies (e.g., Axis, Hikvision, Milestone, Genetec, etc.) preferred. Knowledge of relevant safety and security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, IEC 62676). Experience:3–5+ years of experience in CCTV system design, installation, and maintenance. Experience in large-scale, critical infrastructure projects (e.g., rail, metro, airports, tunnels) highly preferred. Prior exposure to high-speed transit or advanced transport tech (e.g., Hyperloop, Maglev) is a strong plus. Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of IP camera systems, VMS, network topologies, PoE systems, and video analytics. Familiarity with fiber optics, structured cabling, and industrial networking. Understanding of cybersecurity implications in surveillance systems. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design and planning tools is a plus.
