We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Engineer with 4+ years of experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals within the water and wastewater treatment industry (STP, ETP, WTP, RO, ZLD, etc.) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, preparing customized proposals, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring timely and competitive submissions to clients. Role & responsibilit Study and analyze tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and client specifications to prepare accurate and competitive proposals. Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers , including technical write-ups, equipment sizing, costing, and pricing. Work closely with design, estimation, pro curement, and sales teams to collect relevant data and prepare winning proposals. Ensure compliance with technical specifications and tender requirements. Prepare BOQs, costing sheets, technical datasheets, and compliance statements . Develop and maintain a database of vendors, suppliers, and cost references for accurate estimations. Participate in pre-bid meetings, client interactions, and clarifications as required. Ensure timely submission of proposals within given deadlines. Track submitted proposals and support the sales team during negotiations. Maintain records of proposals, awarded contracts, and client communications. Continuously update knowledge of industry standards, treatment technologies, and competitor offerings.

Identify and develop new business opportunities in water and wastewater treatment , STP/ETP/WTP , and waste management sectors. Generate leads through market research, cold calls, networking, and industry events. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, and contractors. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients. Coordinate with technical and proposal teams for tender submissions and client requirements. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and report performance to management. Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and government regulations in the environmental sector. Ensure timely follow-up for payments and client satisfaction. Key Skills: Proven experience in B2B sales , preferably in water, wastewater, or environmental industries . Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills . Strong market research and lead generation ability. Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools. Ability to travel as per business requirements.
