We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Field Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of our comprehensive range of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment to manufacturing units across Odisha. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical solutions that meet the specific needs of our clients. The Field Sales Engineer will be a key contributor to achieving sales targets and expanding our market presence in the region. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development:Actively identify, research, and prospect new manufacturing units and industrial outlets across various sectors (e.g., steel, textiles, food processing, packaging, automotive components) in Odisha. Conduct regular factory visits and cold calls to potential customers to introduce our product range and assess their needs. Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including industry directories, online research, and networking. Relationship Building & Management:Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations, including Purchase Managers, Maintenance Engineers, Production Managers, and other relevant technical personnel. Understand customer challenges and pain points related to their pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert advice and solutions. Technical Sales & Solutions:Possess in-depth technical knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic components, including (but not limited to): Pneumatic Valves (directional control, flow control, pressure relief) Solenoid Valves PU Tubes and Fittings FRLs (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator units) Pressure Gauges Temperature Gauges Hydraulic Cylinders, Pumps, and Motors (basic understanding) Provide technical presentations and demonstrations of products to potential customers. Collaborate with the internal technical team (if applicable) to provide complex solutions or troubleshoot issues. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations. Sales Target Achievement:Consistently meet and exceed assigned individual sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats. Market Intelligence & Reporting:Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts using a CRM system. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and customer insights to the Sales Manager. Participate in sales meetings and training programs. After-Sales Support (as required):Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and post-sales support, contributing to customer satisfaction.
