Position Title: HR Manager Department: Human Resources Location: Malappuram,kerala,perinthalamanna Job Overview: The HR Manager is in charge of managing all the people-related tasks. This includes hiring employees, handling workplace issues, managing performance, paying employees, offering training, and making sure the company follows labor laws. Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Staffing: Manage the hiring process for all job levels. Write job descriptions, review resumes, interview candidates, and make hiring decisions. Work with recruitment agencies to fill positions quickly. Employee Relations: Be the main contact for employees with any issues or concerns. Create a positive work environment and help resolve problems between employees and management. Work to keep employees happy and reduce turnover. Training & Development: Identify training needs and set up training programs. Help new employees get started and feel comfortable in the company. Develop leadership training for middle and senior managers. Performance Management : Set up and manage the performance review system. Help set goals (KPIs) for employees and create plans for improvement. Work with managers to improve employee performance when needed. Compensation & Benefits : Manage the company’s pay structure to stay competitive. Oversee benefits like health insurance and retirement plans. Ensure the company follows all rules for employee pay and benefits. Compliance & Legal: Make sure the company follows all labor laws. Keep records of employee information and company policies. Handle contracts, disciplinary actions, and terminations according to the law. Health and Safety: Work with safety officers to ensure a safe work environment. Train employees on safety rules, especially in production areas. Help manage workplace injuries and make sure workers' compensation claims are processed. Employee Engagement : Develop programs to improve employee satisfaction and retention. Organize team-building activities and recognition programs. Measure employee happiness and suggest ways to improve. Strategic Planning: Help align HR efforts with the company’s overall goals. Use data to improve HR processes and reduce turnover. Share HR insights with senior management to help the company grow. Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (like SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus. Experience: At least 5-7 years in HR, preferably in manufacturing or automotive. Knowledge: Good understanding of labor laws and employee relations. Experience with HR software and hiring systems. Familiar with safety and wellness programs in a factory setting. Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
