Looking for GM and AM / DM Freight Forwarding for a Leading Logistics Group GM - Freight Forwarding Role & responsibilities: Sharing of client leads with sales team to focus on bringing new customers on board. Proper checking and Approval of all quotation and Jobs for all verticals i.e. Ocean, Air, Project. To accompany with sales team when necessary to bring new customer on board and recovery of payment, if it is delayed beyond a certain limit or to solve any problem arise with customer. Conducting weekly sales meeting to discuss the outstanding with current customers and the targeted customers with their feedback and enquiries generation. All types of credit, commission approvals from management. Bringing new customers on board, sending them quotation, building relations with customers. Guiding operation team wherever required expertise in handling and custom clearance activities of any typical commodity. Team building activities within the team members to co-operate with each other where ever necessary. Achieve monthly / annual revenue budge Filling of any fresh sales staff wherever necessary. Asst. Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to financial targets and delivery deadlines. Oversee the transportation and logistics process, including scheduling shipments, tracking cargo, and resolving any issues that arise. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, highlighting achievements and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the supply chain. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve project management processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Engineering & Maintenance Operations: • Oversee the operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment across the distillery, power plant, Dryer & decanter. • Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. • Ensure uninterrupted plant operations through effective utility management (boilers, turbines, cooling systems, compressors, etc.). 2. Distillery Plant Management: • Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of distillation columns and fermentation units for ENA and ethanol production. • Monitor key parameters and troubleshoot any issues related to grain handling, fermentation, distillation, and evaporation units. 3. Power Plant Oversight: • Manage the captive power plant, including boiler and turbine operations, ensuring optimal steam and power availability. • Optimize fuel efficiency and emissions in compliance with environmental regulations. 4. Dryer & decanter: • Oversee the operations and maintenance of DDGS drying and handling systems. 5. Bottling Section Support: • Ensure all bottling line equipment (filling, capping, labeling, packing) are maintained and perform at peak efficiency. • Support new packaging and line upgrades as per market demand. 6. Project Management & Expansion: • Lead engineering projects including capacity expansion, automation, technology upgradation, and new equipment installation. • Coordinate with vendors and consultants for timely project completion. 7. Compliance & Safety: • Ensure adherence to statutory, environmental, and safety norms including ISO, OHSAS, pollution control board, and factory inspectorate requirements. • Drive a safety-first culture among engineering staff. 8. Team Management: • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers. • Train and develop staff to build technical capability and improve performance.
