Company Description Houston Testing & Skill Upgradation Academy, in collaboration with NSDC and TAKAMOL, focuses on spreading employability skills through vocational education, skilling, and employment opportunities both in India and abroad. Our state-of-the-art facilities at Kurla, Mumbai, Rable and Govandi can accommodate up to 1,000 people for testing, certification, and interviews. We also have similar infrastructure in Delhi, Lucknow and Gorakhpur to serve the North Indian market. These centers are instrumental in helping candidates secure self-employment or explore overseas employment opportunities. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer located in Mumbai. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools, and overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Additional responsibilities include conducting research and development (R&D) activities to innovate and improve existing processes, as well as managing projects from conception to completion. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all engineering tasks are executed to meet industry standards and organizational goals. Qualifications Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Project Management skills Research and Development (R&D) experience Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Relevant work experience in a similar role is advantageous
