A Front Office Assistant in a hotel plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk. Their duties include managing reservations, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, answering guest inquiries, handling complaints, and providing general administrative support. Guest Services: Greeting guests and providing a positive first impression. Assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, including verifying reservations and collecting payments. Answering guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Responding to guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Reservation Management: Managing online, phone, and in-person room reservations. Updating reservation records and ensuring accurate room assignments. Administrative Tasks: Answering phones and taking messages. Filing, photocopying, and other general administrative duties. Payment Handling: Collecting payments from guests and verifying credit card information. Balancing cash drawers and ensuring accurate financial records. Other Duties: Liaising with other departments, such as housekeeping, to ensure guest satisfaction. Assisting with special requests and coordinating guest services. May also be responsible for upselling hotel services and facilities. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month Benefits: Food provided Schedule: Day shift Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Work Location: In person
