Job Description

We are looking for hand-on experience hospital management system business or implementation analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: The analyst works with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to understand their needs and challenges. They then translate these business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing hospital workflows and propose solutions using the Gritsys HMS Platform. This can include optimizing patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing, and electronic health records (EHR) management, and machine integration.
  • System Implementation: The role involves managing the entire lifecycle of a new system, from initial setup and configuration to data migration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Training & Support: Train end-users on how to use the new system, creating training materials and providing ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption and address any issues.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze existing data from the hospitals to identify trends, measure performance metrics (like patient wait times or resource utilization), and provide actionable insights to hospital management for better decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure the HMS adheres to critical healthcare regulations like the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other national or regional standards.

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
  • Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Business Analysis Professional or certifications in specific EHR systems, can be highly beneficial.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, or with healthcare IT projects, is often a key qualification.

Core Competencies

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to dissect complex problems, analyze data, and devise effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication is crucial for bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical healthcare staff.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare information systems, data analysis tools, and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulations.
