What you will own
The whole technical chain, in this order, on every project:
- Site survey. Neutral wire at every switchboard, back-box size and depth, Wi-Fi coverage, DB (distribution board) space, conduit routes — written up with photographs, blockers flagged.
- Design and BOQ. Turn drawings into a room-by-room device schedule and a parts list. On wired jobs, audit bus cable, power supplies, coupler capacity, actuator channels and programming effort.
- Coordination. Work with the electrical contractor and interiors team during wiring, so the right cable reaches the right point before plastering.
- Installation and commissioning. Direct our electricians, configure panels, gateways and scenes, and do the bus programming in ETS (the KNX configuration software) or the platform's own tool.
- Handover and support. Client walkthrough, as-built documentation, and ownership of snags and warranty calls.
- Feedback. Report failure patterns and weak products back into product and supplier decisions.
Must have
- Diploma or degree in electrical, electronics or a related trade.
- 3–6 years delivering low-voltage systems on live sites — home automation, BMS (building management systems), ELV (extra-low voltage: CCTV, access control, networking) or lighting control.
- Reads and marks up electrical single-line diagrams and lighting layouts.
- Hands-on with at least one wired automation platform (KNX, Lutron, Crestron, Control4, Dynalite or similar) — configuring devices, not only wiring them.
- Comfortable with Wi-Fi/Zigbee networks: router setup, static IPs, gateway pairing, diagnosing a device that dropped off.

- KNX Partner certification or ETS training.

- Has run a crew of electricians before.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
