About the job: Looking for a smart, self-starter, Independent, enthusiastic team player to join our team. You will be working on bringing ideas to digital life. NOTE: We will 'NOT' provide training or hand-holding. You will be told about the project, and are expected to research, decide, and build independently. ONLY apply if you have built Web Apps and/or Mobile Apps in the past. Key responsibilities: 1. Rapid MVP development: Translate product ideas into functional MVPs within days/weeks using no-code/low-code tools (Bubble, FlutterFlow, Webflow, etc.). 2. Custom coding & extensions: Write clean, scalable code when needed to extend no-code apps, build custom integrations, or add features not supported natively. 3. Database & Backend Setup: Design, configure, and maintain databases (Firebase, Supabase, Airtable, etc.) and set up authentication, storage, and serverless functions. 4. API integrations: Connect applications with third-party APIs, SaaS platforms, and internal systems (REST/GraphQL, Zapier, Make, custom webhooks). 5. UI/UX implementation: Turn wireframes and design mockups into intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces. 6. Deployment & maintenance: Deploy web and mobile apps to production environments (App Store, Google Play, custom domains) and ensure stability. 7. Performance & scalability: Optimize apps for speed, efficiency, and scalability while keeping MVP timelines in mind. 8. Collaboration: Work closely with founders, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and quickly iterate on product feedback. 9. Tool selection: Evaluate and recommend the best no-code/low-code tools and tech stacks for each project to balance speed and flexibility. 10. Documentation & handover: Document workflows, app logic, and integrations so the team can easily maintain or scale the product. Required skills: 1. Strong coding skills in JavaScript, Python, or Dart (Flutter). 2. Hands-on experience with Bubble or FlutterFlow (must have shipped apps to production). 3. Proficiency with Firebase (authentication, Firestore, storage, cloud functions). 4. Ability to evaluate product requirements and choose the fastest path (no-code vs. custom code). 5. Solid understanding of UX/UI principles with the ability to build clean, user-friendly interfaces. 6. Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations (Zapier, Make, custom webhooks). 7. Practical experience in mobile app deployment (iOS and/or Android). 8. Familiarity with additional no-code/low-code platforms such as Adalo, Webflow, or Glide. 9. Background in early-stage startups or building products from scratch (comfort with ambiguity, fast pivots). 10. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor teammates on no-code/low-code best practices. Note: We are headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area.
