Share this job Mission Statement Responsible for Configuration of IED’s used in EHV Substations, Development of HMI’s using vendor specific tools and testing of CRP and SAS of EHV substations (above 132kV Voltage level). Ensure that the Substation Automation Projects delivered by HEIL are configured as per the project requirements and tested, put into service on time, meeting highest HEIL quality and OHS standards. Meet or exceed the customer expectations in testing & configuration of IED in line with project requirements. Your Responsibilities As a testing and configuration engineer, carrying out the configuration of IED’s, development of HMI’s in line with project requirements and testing of Control and relay panels, Substation automation system delivered and actively contribute in the testing team of Grid Automation Systems. Execute the project IED’s configurations and testing safely following all safety standards of HEIL as well as customer. Reports Hazards, Near Misses at working location back to office for records and further improvement. Ensure that customer relations are managed in an optimal way. Carryout the Configurations of IED’s and testing the Control, Protection and SAS panels as per the documented process description and checklists. Continuous interactions with testing Lead and expert help to carry out the testing works effectively. Report the Configuration and testing project status testing progress & testing plan to testing Lead. Ensure efficient use of the testing assets like Test kits, Tools etc. Ensures project information of any project is fully taken from testing lead and get all IED’s fully configured and tested in line with customer approved drawings and ready for the project specific testing activities before offering the projects to customer during FAT. Handing over the marked-up drawings to engineering for preparing the As-build drawing and onward submission to customer to close the project. Handover the final testing backup CD's, Micro SCADA system backup, IET workplace backup and other backup as per the checklist to lead. Actively and regularly (Compulsory for every project) provides feedback to Engineering Project Management, manufacturing and quality in way that ensures re-usage of experience. for a Material Flow Specialist for the Transformers Business to join their team in Vadodara, Gujarat , India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. He or she must be flexible in accommodating business requirements and experience in working with diverse groups and cultures. The ability to multitask & deliver within timelines is essential. The candidate will have excellent communications skills. The Opportunity: Ensure efficient and cost-effective Production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production process (quantity, quality, budgeted cost and proper productivity level). Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders. How you will make an impact: Track material movement from the dispatch from Sweden to receipt at Vadodara factory. Coordination with Project Management in Sweden, in case of any issues noticed with the supplied material kits. Ensure proper storage of received material at Vadodara factory. Ensure proper handling and smooth material movement at Vadodara factory. Make sure that the correct and required material is available at respective workstation, according to production plan. Coordination between Planning, Stores, Production, Quality and Project Management wrt the kits received from Sweden. Create, maintain, and improve functional relationships with other operational and organizational departments to gain input on product and process requirements and needs. Collaborate with continuous improvement team to integrate new processes or improvement ideas. Living Hitachi Energy s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business Your Background BE/BTech in Electrical/Mechanical engineering. Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Power Transformer manufacturing and Stores Management. Knowledge of Project Management is an added advantage. Must have previously demonstrated complete knowledge of production activities. Familiarity with IATF16949, ISO14001, and OSHA regulations. Having analytical and problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate excellent verbal, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate team efforts to accomplish goals. Ability to operate and deliver results in a multi-cultural environment. Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required .
