Sr. Software Engineer - Full Stack (In-Person, SF) Salary: $180,000 – $220,000 + Equity Location: San Francisco (Hayes Valley) Type: Full-time, In-Person Only Experience Level: 4–8 years From the Founder: We’re building a high-performance platform that automates the heaviest parts of programmatic SEO and growth marketing using LLMs, intelligent agents, and scalable backend systems. Demand is rising quickly, and we’re expanding the engineering team with a backend-strong full-stack engineer who thrives in fast paced 0→1 environments. This is a hands-on role where you’ll own features end-to-end from database models to GraphQL resolvers to polished front-end flows. What you'll work on: Architect and implement new product features across backend + frontend. Improve AI agent workflows, stability, and success-rate. Build intuitive UI components and maintain consistent design patterns. Identify new automation opportunities across growth-marketing workflows. Maintain a high engineering quality bar: performance, security, reliability. Ship quickly, iterate often, and collaborate in-person with product + design. Experience 4-8 years as a full-stack engineer in a high-quality startup environment (no contract-only backgrounds). 70/30 backend/frontend split preferred. Demonstrated 0→1 ownership i.e shipped products, tools, or internal systems. Strong experience working in teams with high product culture. Competitive internship or early-career experience showing grit + capability. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (top programs preferred). Tech Skills Backend (strong preference): C#, Java, C/C++, or similar strongly typed backend languages. Understanding of distributed systems, API design, and high-scale performance. Experience with .NET 9, Postgres, Google Cloud, Temporal (nice to have). Frontend: Proficient with React, Typescript, Next.js, Tailwind. Experience designing clean, consistent UX/UI flows. General: Web-first experience (not mobile-focused). Strong debugging, performance optimization, and security awareness. Clear, proactive communicator. Thrives in fast-moving, ambiguity-heavy startup environments. Works well in in-person collaborative teams (5 days/week). Obsessed with quality and customer experience. Hungry to own real product surface area end-to-end. We are not keen on: Heavy crypto-only engineering backgrounds. Primarily data-engineering roles. Pure big-tech profiles with limited 0→1 ownership. Consultant/contract-heavy experience without long-form product work.
