As a Cost Estimator / BOQ Specialist for residential interior design projects in Mumbai, your role will involve preparing accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and budgeting documentation. Your meticulous attention to detail will play a critical role in project planning, cost control, and ensuring smooth execution in line with financial goals. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for residential interior design projects, covering civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing works. - Collaborate closely with interior designers, architects, procurement teams, and contractors to gather and validate scope-specific information. - Analyze drawings, specifications, and material requirements to determine accurate quantities and costing. - Maintain and update a database of material and labor costs for ongoing pricing accuracy. - Assist in value engineering and propose alternative solutions to meet project budgets. - Provide support to project teams with cost comparison reports throughout the execution phase. - Ensure that all BOQs and cost documents are aligned with industry standards and client expectations.
