About the Role We are looking for an experienced and freshers for Server Administrator and Senior Server Administrator roles to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and securing our servers to ensure high availability, performance, and security of business-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Manage Linux and Windows servers, both physical and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM). Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and applications. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply timely fixes. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Ensure network security, patch management, and compliance with company policies. Automate server tasks using scripts (Bash, PowerShell, or Python). Maintain and monitor firewall, DNS, DHCP, mail servers, and web hosting environments. Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to support deployments and optimize infrastructure. Maintain detailed system documentation, SOPs, and change logs. Server support at specific instances Customer communication Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). Freshers and Proven experience as a Server/System Administrator (0–3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and Windows Server environments. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Proxmox). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Proficiency in troubleshooting networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls). Hands-on experience with backup systems, monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus), and log management. Scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
