Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer with expertise in mechanical component design and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will lead design development, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product excellence and manufacturability. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end mechanical design of idlers, pulleys, and aerospace-grade components and EOT cranes . Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools. Ensure designs adhere to engineering standards, tolerances, and client specifications . Perform design validation and feasibility checks , including FEA and tolerance analysis. Work closely with production, purchase, and quality teams to ensure design-to-manufacture alignment. Maintain design documentation , including BOMs, GD&T, and revision control. Identify and drive design improvements in terms of efficiency, cost, and performance . Support client discussions and provide technical input during project planning and review phases. Mentor junior design engineers and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
