We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily operations at our toughened glass manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have deep technical knowledge of glass processing, especially toughening, DGU, and laminated glass, with proven experience managing production teams, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing plant efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and control production activities to meet output targets and deadlines. Supervise the entire production line, encompassing cutting, edge processing, washing, tempering, DGU , and lamination . Manage raw material usage, inventory control, and wastage reduction. Monitor the tempering furnace performance and coordinate with maintenance teams for regular upkeep. Ensure product quality matches customer specifications and industry standards (ISI/CE) . Lead and train production staff to maintain productivity and safety. Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with the quality control, design, and sales teams for smooth order flow and execution. Maintain accurate production reports and documentation. Candidate Profile: Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, or relevant field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in glass processing or a similar manufacturing industry . Deep understanding of tempering furnaces , glass types, defects (like bubbles, breakage), and production challenges. Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills. Familiar with EditWay or similar production tracking software is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
