Healthcare Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst to join our remote team in India. The ideal candidate will analyze healthcare data, generate actionable insights, build dashboards, and support business and clinical decision-making. You will work closely with healthcare providers, operations teams, product managers, and stakeholders to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze large healthcare datasets.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs using BI tools.
• Interpret healthcare claims, EMR/EHR, patient, provider, and operational data.
• Perform trend analysis, forecasting, and data quality assessments.
• Create SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
• Identify business opportunities through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
• Automate recurring reports and optimize reporting processes.
• Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of healthcare datasets such as EMR/EHR, claims, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, or HL7/FHIR.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with US Healthcare, payer or provider analytics.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Certification in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Healthcare Analytics is a plus.
