Head of Subcontracts Management

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for overseeing the entire process of managing the Subcontractors, including selecting them, negotiating contracts, monitoring their performance and resolving any issues that arise throughout the project. 2. Identifying and evaluating potential subcontractors based on their capabilities, experience and financial stability. 3. Responsible to Manage the drafting, negotiating sub contract agreements with vendors, ensuring clear terms regarding deliverables, timelines, payment, schedules and risk allocation. 4. Tacking subcontractor progress against project milestones, identifying potential issues early on, taking corrective actions when necessary. 5. Maintaining open communication channels with subcontractors, addressing concerns promptly and facilitating collaboration between different parties involved in the project. 6. Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with subcontractors work including quality, schedule delays and financial instability. 7. Manage conflicts if any or disagreements that may arise between the Shipbuilding management and Subcontractors through negotiation or mediation. 8. Monitor subcontractors invoices and ensuring compliance with budget constraints.
