This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership acumen, and the ability to drive innovation, efficiency, and high-quality engineering standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, including design, development, testing, and implementation of mechanical systems and products. Define technical strategies and align engineering goals with overall business objectives. Review and approve engineering plans, designs, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and industry standards. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D, procurement) to ensure smooth execution and delivery. Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve engineering efficiency and innovation. Ensure the application of engineering best practices, continuous improvement processes, and risk mitigation strategies. Mentor junior engineers and foster a high-performance, innovation-driven team culture. Report engineering performance metrics and progress to senior management. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of managing complex mechanical projects from concept to completion. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical design principles, and quality systems. Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS) and engineering project management software. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Skills and Competencies: PMP or Six Sigma certification. Experience with lean manufacturing or automation systems.
