Head of Department- Public Policy

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor faculty and promote teaching excellence, research, and professional development.
• Oversee curriculum design, review, and implementation in line with UGC norms.
• Contribute to academic governance through Boards of Studies and curriculum committees.
• Maintain strong research output, publications, funded projects, and doctoral mentoring.
• Build partnerships with government institutions, think tanks, NGOs, and research organizations.
• Lead consultancy, policy advisory, and governance research initiatives.

Eligibility:

• Ph.D. in Public Policy or related discipline with 15+ years of academic experience.
• Experience as Professor with leadership in academic administration.
• Proven contributions to curriculum development, governance, and institutional growth.
• Prior leadership experience as HOD or equivalent role preferred.
