Role & responsibilities - Develop and lead the national sales strategy for the Mahila Micro Credit segment, ensuring the growth and profitability of the department. - Lead a team of regional sales managers to achieve business goals, including customer acquisition, loan disbursements, and portfolio management. - Create and manage sales initiatives targeting women entrepreneurs, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas, to increase financial inclusion. - Collaborate with product development, credit, and risk teams to offer innovative credit solutions designed specifically for women borrowers. - Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, NGOs, self-help groups, and women's associations to enhance outreach. - Monitor sales performance, collection efficiencies, and customer satisfaction across regions, taking corrective actions as necessary. - Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory compliance while promoting ethical lending practices. - Develop partnerships with financial institutions, fintechs, and other entities to offer value-added services such as financial literacy and entrepreneurship training for women borrowers. - Lead initiatives to enhance customer retention and loyalty through relationship-building and follow-up services. - Prepare and present monthly/quarterly sales reports, market insights, and performance reviews to senior management. - Mentor, train, and motivate the sales team to improve overall performance and maintain a high level of customer service.
