Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Optimization of space by proactively monitoring and through storage management. 2. Responsible for overall Storage Administration, Housekeeping, monitoring and daily support of enterprise storage infrastructure. 3. Responsible for OCI/AWS/Azure/Onprem storage management 4. Performs ongoing storage capacity management. 5. Implementation of purging policy 6. Responsible for performance, availability, and scalability of the storage infrastructure 7. Performs and supports problem resolution efforts for storage performance, access/permissions and other concerns across a multi-vendor, multi-datacenter storage infrastructure. 8. Responsible for planning future requirements, trends, and changes to meet existing and future business demands. 9. Evaluate input and output for systems, overall architecture, to recommend improvements 10. Perform capacity planning and performance tuning as it relates to the storage infrastructure 11. Maintains and expand on current knowledge of relevant technology. 12. Maintain the usability and reliability of the storage infrastructure. 13. Work with infrastructure, application, and database teams when resolving issues to minimize business impact 14. Assist with space planning and management 15. Ensure storage infrastructure and data are adequately protected, highly available, and is functioning at optimal performance 16. Monitor and maintain the storage infrastructure.
