Job Description

Role Objective: Develop India & South East Asia (SEA) MNE Strategy align with global, build up team and people capabilities to make business profitable and sustainable. Primary Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: Take charge of the company's overall market expansion in the designated area, organize and implement the marketing promotion plan, and achieve MNE sales target and profit target Responsible for the development MNE sales strategy in line with the India's & SEA sales processes and SBU MNE Global direction Plan and Analyze Short and long business plan and develop yearly sales target and planning/ making proper action plans to meet sales target. Mainly responsible for the business development of traditional passenger-, commercial vehicles and New energy OEMs, Buildup, lead and manage sales team to implement companys sales plan to ensure, achieve and exceed the goal on sales volume, market share, and gross margin. Providing customers with a high level of commercial and technical service while also promoting the companys goodwill. Identifying, Analyzing, and understanding customers need and providing suitable solutions to meet their requirements. Negotiating contractual terms and condition with customers to maximize benefits for the company. Developing excellent long term partnerships and relationships with all key account customers to maximize business growth and customer satisfaction. Conducting research on market movement and trend, competitor activates and customer feedback etc. Liaising within the sales team and other departments. Determined target customers and competitive strategies by investigating the market, potential customers and competitors, give regular feedback and provided accurate information for the company to make decisions. Technical and commercial customer interaction to acquire projects and deliver all needed information from / to customer and internal project team Actively maintain customer relationship, expand business share, assist receivables, account checking and other matters Visiting existing customers regularly developing new business opportunities by identifying potential customers and penetrating new markets, especially in the new energy sector Within our Global SBU MNE organization, leading and coordinate the initiatives and reporting for APAC in cooperation with the leader of one of the four MNE segments - actual for Commercial vehicles Profitability & Financial Management: Oversee the SBU P&L, ensuring financial targets are met. Ensure accurate financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Sales & Marketing Management: Lead sales and marketing initiatives to drive product adoption, increase market share, and enhance brand visibility. Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies tailored to various customer segments Foster strong relationships with senior management of customers and other key stakeholders. Product Development & Innovation: Collaborate with technical departments and R&D to innovate and introduce new products or services in line with market demands. Drive product lifecycle management, from concept to launch, ensuring that the portfolio remains competitive. Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to direct reports and key team members. Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, R&D) to achieve business goals. Preferred candidate profile Masters/bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business (MBA preferred). Minimum 12-15 years of experience in the automotive industry, Proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic planning within the automotive sector. Experience in managing teams and driving organizational change. Familiarity with automotive manufacturing, OEM relationships, and the broader automotive ecosystem. Skills: Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of automotive market trends and consumer behavior. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to drive data-driven decisions. Experience with digital transformation in the automotive industry e.g. EVs Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
