We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator to operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) for precision machining of components as per drawings and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:Operate VMC machines for machining components as per drawings and work instructions Load and unload raw materials and finished components Set tools, fixtures, and offsets on VMC machines Perform basic machine setup and job changeover Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per quality standards Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures Report machine breakdowns, tool wear, and quality issues to supervisor Achieve daily production targets with minimal rejection Skills & Requirements:Knowledge of VMC machine operation Understanding of cutting tools and machining processes Basic knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi) Ability to read mechanical drawings Good knowledge of measuring instruments Willingness to work in shifts Overtime as per company policy Preferred Candidates:Fresher or experienced VMC operators Candidates with tool room or precision manufacturing experience will be an advantage
