Role Description This is an unpaid remote internship role for a UI Developer at Happyspace. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UI Developer with expertise in React and TypeScript , and a solid understanding of the MERN stack . This role is ideal for someone passionate about building intuitive, performant, and scalable user interfaces for modern web applications. Experience working on AI-based products is a significant plus. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize high-quality UI components using React and TypeScript Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless user experiences Build and maintain scalable front-end architecture within a MERN stack environment Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on performance and reusability Implement modern UI/UX best practices and stay updated with the latest front-end technologies Troubleshoot and resolve UI bugs, cross-browser issues, and performance bottlenecks Contribute to product planning and provide input on design and technical decisions Required Skills & Experience 0–2 years of experience as a frontend or UI developer Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Experience working with MongoDB, Express.js, and Node.js Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, and frontend state management (Redux, Context API, etc.) Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows, and agile development practices Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-device compatibility Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Good communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working on AI-powered applications or integrating AI APIs Why Work With Us?
