Job Title: Consultant Gynecologist Location: BPS Hospital & Institute, Etah, Uttar Pradesh Department: Obstetrics & Gynecology Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: Minimum 2–5 years post-MD/MS/DNB/DGO Reporting To: Medical Superintendent Job Summary The Consultant Gynecologist will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures. The role involves managing both inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care: Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, reproductive tract infections, and menopausal symptoms. Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care, monitoring fetal development and maternal health. Manage labor and delivery, performing vaginal deliveries and Cesarean sections as needed. Perform gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, myomectomies, and minimally invasive procedures like laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. Offer contraceptive counseling and family planning services Emergency and Critical Care: Respond promptly to obstetric and gynecological emergencies, ensuring timely interventions. Manage high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with maternal-fetal medicine specialists. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies. Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement programs, and continuing medical education. Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees.jobs.gohire.io Qualifications Education: MBBS with postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB/DGO) in Obstetrics & Gynecology from a recognized institution. Licensure: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council.
