Job Title: Website Designer (WordPress & Coding)Department: Design & Development Location: [Your Company Location / Remote] Reporting To: Project Manager / Technical Head Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and creative Website Designer with strong experience in WordPress development and front-end coding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for performance. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress, custom themes, and plugins. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP code. Customize existing WordPress themes and templates as per client requirements. Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile compatibility. Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to implement website features. Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring security and functionality. Troubleshoot technical issues and perform regular site testing and debugging. Stay updated with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in WordPress website design and development. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP. Knowledge of website optimization, SEO fundamentals, and UI/UX principles. Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma, or Canva (optional but preferred). Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with deadlines. Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery Page Builder. Knowledge of MySQL databases and API integration. Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum 0-1 year of experience in website design and WordPress development.
