Key Responsibilities: Sales Target Achievement: Meeting or exceeding sales targets for merchant acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue within the assigned territory. Merchant Acquisition & Management: Identifying and onboarding new merchants, while also managing and retaining existing merchant relationships. Team Management & Development: Leading, motivating, and mentoring a team of sales representatives, providing training and guidance to improve their performance. Sales Strategy & Execution: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives, including identifying potential leads and closing deals. Market Understanding & Analysis: Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges. Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including merchants, distributors, and internal teams. Reporting & Analysis: Tracking sales performance, analyzing data, and providing regular reports to senior management. Product Knowledge: Developing a strong understanding of the payment gateway products and services offered, and effectively communicating their value to potential clients. Payment Gateway Background Requirements: Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with different payment methods (e.g., credit/debit cards, digital wallets, online banking), payment processing technologies (e.g., POS terminals, QR codes, online payment gateways), and relevant regulations. Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the fintech, payment gateway, or related industries. Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand and explain technical aspects of payment processing to merchants and other stakeholders. Relationship Building Skills: Ability to build rapport with merchants, distributors, and internal teams. Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch products and services, negotiate deals, and provide training. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges. Team Leadership: Experience in leading and motivating a sales team to achieve targets.
