Company Description GroundTruth Analytics transforms real-world parking behavior into actionable insights for commercial real estate owners, retail REITs, and mixed-use developers. Using a network of modern sensors, parking pucks, LoRaWAN gateways, and LPR (license plate recognition) systems, we turn raw activity into clean zone-level data that powers rent decisions, wayfinding, tenant mix planning, and operations. We help properties understand: Which zones outperform How visitors circulate Where congestion forms How events and holidays impact traffic Where incremental sales opportunities sit We’re building the intelligence layer for physical real estate. What you'll work on Integrating IoT sensors, parking pucks, and LPR devices Building reliable data ingestion pipelines (LoRaWAN, MQTT, REST) Designing services to process high-volume sensor activity Building computer-vision or OCR components for LPR & traffic flow Contributing to dashboards for zone-level occupancy & analytics Working with geospatial, time-series, and mobility datasets Improving data quality, fault tolerance, and event processing Supporting new product lines around wayfinding, heatmaps, etc. Qualifications You don’t need all of these, but strong candidates will have experience with several: Backend / Platform Python or Node.js FastAPI, Flask, or Express PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB AWS or GCP Real-time processing (Kafka, Kinesis, MQTT, WebSockets) IoT / Edge / Sensors Experience integrating hardware devices or LoRaWAN gateways Understanding of MQTT, low-power sensors, or embedded data flows Basic networking & device monitoring experience Computer Vision (Nice to Have) OpenCV OCR / ANPR / LPR systems Basic image pipelines or model deployment Frontend (Nice to Have) React, TypeScript Map-based visualizations (Mapbox, Leaflet, Kepler) Who You Are You’re curious, scrappy, and love solving real-world problems You’re excited about IoT, mobility, transportation, or CV You enjoy building systems end-to-end You thrive in fast-moving, early-stage environments You want to own things that actually ship
