The Role We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our Bangalore team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our Floe product meets the highest standards of quality across design, development, and delivery. You’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders across geographies to embed quality into every stage of the lifecycle. From exploratory and regression testing to automation and performance testing, you’ll take ownership of functional and non-functional testing. This is a highly collaborative role with several key stakeholders, and you work with offshore teams to help spread knowledge of key features and demonstrate changes. You will identify and assess risks continuously to help deliver quality releases on time and budget. What You’ll Do Participate in feature design, story refinement, and risk assessment from the outset. Review and contribute to user stories, acceptance criteria, and BDD scenarios. Conduct a wide range of testing: exploratory, regression, security, cross-browser, accessibility, and API testing. Raise clear and concise defects, providing actionable reporting. Support release cycles through smoke testing and stakeholder demos. Contribute to test automation strategies using tools like Cucumber and Cypress. Continuously improve QA processes and champion quality best practices. Collaborate with offshore teams to share knowledge and ensure consistent quality standards. What You Bring Proven experience in web and API testing. Strong background in exploratory testing with clear reporting skills. Familiarity with agile practices like BDD, TDD, Three Amigos, Example/Event Mapping. Knowledge of UX, UI, accessibility, performance, and security testing. Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira Zephyr, Postman/Insomnia, BrowserStack, and browser debugging tools. Experience with test case management, design, and planning. Nice to Have Exposure to financial systems testing. Familiarity with automation frameworks (Cucumber, Cypress). Understanding of containerized applications (e.g., Docker). In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience to execute and deliver complex cloud infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in maintaining and modernising our multiple cloud environments hosted across public and private clouds, primarily AWS and Azure, which support deployments of Gresham's portfolio of products.
