Sales & Marketing Executive — Thermopack (Custom Thermoforming Company) Location: Oragadam, Chennai (field travel across Tamil Nadu/South India; occasional pan-India) Experience: 1–4 years (B2B/industrial preferred) Reports to: Head – Sales / CEO Openings: 2–3 (Territory-based) About Thermopack Thermopack designs and manufactures custom thermoformed solutions : ESD/cleanroom trays for EMS, twin-sheet pallets & dunnage for automotive OEM/Tier-1, EVA/ABS/PC trays, pannier/side boxes, and specialty protective packaging for Electrical/Lighting & Medical. Role Summary Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and RFQ management to sample approval, order closure, and after-sales—while supporting brand-building (brochures, fairs, website/LinkedIn). It’s a hands-on techno-commercial role working closely with Design, Tooling, and Production. Key Responsibilities Lead Gen & Prospecting: Map OEMs/Tier-1s, EMS, and distributors; cold/warm outreach; schedule meetings/plant demos. RFQ & Solutioning: Capture application needs, dimensions & ESD specs; coordinate with design for DFM/quotes; submit proposals on time. Trials to SOP: Arrange samples, pilot runs, PPAP/approvals, and convert to repeat orders. Account Management: Maintain pricing, POs, delivery plans, and resolve issues with production/logistics/QA. Marketing Support: Update CRM, sales deck, case studies; run LinkedIn/email drip; prepare fair/expo collateral. Commercial Hygiene: Basic cost sheet inputs, follow up for payments as per agreed credit terms, and keep DSO healthy. Reporting: Weekly funnel review (leads–RFQs–quotes–wins), competitor/price intel, and visit reports. We’re looking for a talented Design Engineer to join our growing R&D and engineering team. Key Responsibilities Design and develop thermoformed packaging and plastic components based on client requirements and manufacturing capabilities. Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software Work closely with production, tooling, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Conduct material selection and design optimization to enhance performance and cost efficiency. Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation. Support new product introduction (NPI) from concept through to production handover. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical input during customer presentations and proposals. Maintain accurate documentation of all design revisions and BOMs. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in product design, preferably in thermoforming, plastics, or packaging industries . Proficiency in 3D CAD tools is must Strong understanding of manufacturing processes — especially vacuum forming, pressure forming, and tool design . Good knowledge of polymer materials and design for manufacturability principles. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills (Added Advantage) Experience in automotive packaging design or industrial trays .
