Green Steel l BD (Application Engineering Specialist)

Role & responsibilities:

Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide application engineering support and develop customized technical solutions for Green Steel products
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and drive business development initiatives
• Prepare and contribute to techno-commercial proposals, feasibility studies, and solution design
• Track global Green Steel trends, including decarbonization and hydrogen-based steelmaking, and provide market insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, sales, and project execution to ensure successful project delivery

Preferred candidate profile:

Qualifications:

• 1520years of experience in the

  Steel Industry

• Bachelors degree (B.E./B.Tech) in

  Mechanical

  or

  Metallurgical

  Engineering

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of DRI/HBI processes and BOF & ERF operations
• Good understanding of global Green Steel market, decarbonization pathways, and hydrogen-based steelmaking technologies
• Proven experience in techno-commercial discussions and customer engagement
• Ability to develop technical proposals, feasibility studies, and end-to-end solutioning.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Green Steel or decarbonization projects
• Experience working with global customers or technology providers
