As a Freight Broker, you will serve as the intermediary between customers and carriers, ensuring that both parties’ needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. Responsibilities: Broker freight loads by connecting shippers with carriers and arranging transportation services. Negotiate competitive rates with carriers while maintaining profitability for the company. Coordinate shipments from start to finish, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable carriers to ensure capacity and service quality. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving shipment-related issues. Monitor the progress of shipments and ensure they remain on schedule and within budget. Ensure all shipments comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Accurately complete all required shipping documentation, including contracts and invoices. Requirements: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and carriers. Excellent organisational and time-management skills to juggle multiple shipments and priorities. Strong understanding of transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations.
