Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Fitness Trainer / Personal Trainer to join our team and help clients achieve their health and fitness goals. The ideal candidate will create customized workout plans, provide guidance and motivation, and ensure clients exercise safely and effectively. Key Responsibilities: Conduct fitness assessments and consultations for new clients. Design and implement personalized workout and nutrition plans based on client goals (e.g., weight loss, muscle gain, endurance). Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure client safety during workouts. Monitor client progress and adjust training programs as needed. Provide motivation, support, and accountability to clients. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment. Educate clients on proper nutrition, lifestyle habits, and wellness practices. Promote gym programs and services to potential clients. Keep accurate records of client sessions and progress. Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and certifications. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in sports science, kinesiology, or related field is a plus. Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, etc.). CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain). Prior experience as a fitness or personal trainer preferred. Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and injury prevention. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Physically fit and able to demonstrate exercises as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Specialized certifications (e.g., strength training, yoga, pilates, HIIT, group fitness). Experience with client retention and sales of personal training packages. Familiarity with fitness tracking apps and gym management software. Work Environment: Gym or fitness center setting. May involve early morning, evening, or weekend shifts. Combination of one-on-one training, small group classes, and floor supervision.
