Job Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Graphic Designer to contribute to our diverse range of projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of graphic design principles, video editing skills, and a passion for visual storytelling. You will be responsible for producing high-quality graphics and videos that align with our clients' branding and messaging strategies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Graphic Design Expertise: Utilize advanced design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), to create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all visual assets to strengthen brand identity. 2. Video Editing Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Edit videos to include effects, transitions, and text overlays that enhance viewer engagement and storytelling. Integrate graphics seamlessly into video projects to create cohesive and captivating content. 3. Understanding of Visual Communication: Apply principles of typography, colour theory, layout design, and composition to effectively communicate messages and achieve desired objectives. Create designs that resonate with target audiences and adhere to project specifications. 4. Collaboration with Video Production Teams: Work closely with video production teams to understand project requirements and creatively contribute to visual aspects of projects. Ensure consistency in branding and design elements across both graphic and video content. 5. Canva & AI Basics: Utilize Canva for quick design projects, aiding collaboration with non-designers to meet design needs efficiently. Maintain a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and their applications in design automation and optimization. 6. Continuous Learning and Adaptation: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in graphic design, video editing, and design tools. Participate in training programs, workshops, and engage in self-directed learning to enhance skills and adapt to changing industry demands. Desired Candidate Profile A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required). 2 years of total work experience in graphic design and video editing (preferred). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software. Strong understanding of design principles and visual communication. Creative mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
