Graphic Designer & Video Editor

St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research (SPIHER) is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support the institution’s admissions, branding, digital marketing and student recruitment activities.

The successful candidate will design engaging visual content for social media, admission campaigns, brochures, posters, banners, presentations, event promotions and other institutional communication materials. The candidate should understand visual branding, typography, layout design and digital content requirements for higher education marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design creative posters, banners, brochures, flyers, prospectuses and admission campaign materials.
• Develop graphics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and other digital platforms.
• Create promotional creatives for UG, PG, engineering, management, science, research and other academic programmes offered by the institution.
• Design application-open announcements, admission updates, event invitations, campus activities and student recruitment campaigns.
• Prepare print-ready artwork for outdoor advertising, campus signage, standees, exhibition materials and promotional merchandise.
• Collaborate with the admissions team, content writers, digital marketing executives and website developers.
• Maintain consistent institutional branding, including colours, fonts, logos and visual standards.
• Convert campaign briefs into attractive, audience-focused designs within agreed deadlines.
• Edit photographs and videos and create simple motion graphics or short-form promotional content where required.
• Adapt creative materials to different sizes and specifications for digital and print use.
• Maintain an organised library of editable design files, approved logos, templates and campaign assets.
• Review designs for spelling, accuracy, alignment, image quality and brand consistency before publication.
• Support admission events, seminars, education fairs and campus promotional activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Fine Arts or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• 2–5 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Canva or equivalent design tools.
• Understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, image editing and layout principles.
• Ability to prepare high-quality digital assets and print-ready files.
• A portfolio demonstrating previous design work is mandatory.
