This is a full-time on-site role for a accountant at Grace Drinks,Daria,Chandigarh. The accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, preparing and maintaining financial records, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.The role also involves reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects. Responsibilities • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations • Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediate-ly available when needed • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings • Assist with other accounting projects Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) • Relatable experience in accounting or finance • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently, with strong self-motivation and initiative • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices & determined to learn accounting softwares like Logic.
