Worst experience - noisy party crowd at night (sometimes party goes until 5 am in the morning) - this crowd is mostly the long term guests - they don't cooperate and act like they own the hostel and even the owner can't take any action against them - just avoid the hostel - also rooms are super tiny with no space

Definitely the best hostel in Kolkata. The vibe is just amazing and they are caring too. Helped us with all our requests. Will definitely stay here the next time i visit Kolkata as well!

Excellent place to stay in kolkata. All the staff were very helpful. Service was superb. Got to meet a lot of new people from different countries. Food was great. Overall experience was superb. Should definitely visit this place.

If you are searching for zostel/ gostops in Kolkata and couldn't find one, do consider staying in guten tag. It's clean, affordable and staff are friendly. 1 star less because rooms are not well ventilated and cooking can be better.
