Role & responsibilities : The Business Support Expert plays a key role in driving successful project acquisition and implementation by supporting project managers and teams, coordinating international partners, and ensuring effective communication and documentation. Expressions of Interest : Independently prepare pre-qualification documents, adapt standard texts, select relevant project references based on scope, draft key qualifications for experts, coordinate deadlines, and manage general correspondence in English (French is an asset but not mandatory). Bid Preparation : Collaborate with the responsible technical manager on bid preparation, including contacting partners and subcontractors, screening donor platforms for specific requirements, and handling bid submissions to clients. Take responsibility for supporting activities throughout the acquisition process. Deadline Management and Report Editing : Closely monitor deadlines and assist with editing and quality control of reports. Ongoing Correspondence : Maintain regular communication with donors, project partners, and other stakeholders. General Organizational Tasks : Provide support with various organizational and administrative tasks within the team/department as needed. Preferred candidate profile : Degree in languages or a comparable qualification (e.g., international relations, international management). Fluent in Business English: Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset. Experience in Translating Technical Texts: Ideally, prior experience in translating technical content. Experience in infrastructure or construction projects desirable Strong MS Office Skills: Confident use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with excellent skills in Word, including formatting, templates, and editing tools. Open to Modern Digital Work Environments: Comfortable working with Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other cloud-based collaboration tools. Role & responsibilities: Participate in the design and analysis of high-voltage overhead transmission lines. Carry out calculations for structure loading, conductor sag, and route alignment studies. Assist in preparing engineering drawings, bills of materials, technical reports, cost estimates, specifications, and project documentation. Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project execution. Communicate and coordinate with clients and other stakeholders regarding project status and progress. Provide technical support during bidding, procurement, and construction phases. Conduct site visits and work closely with field teams to ensure project objectives are met. Ensure the quality of design tasks and deliverables by adhering to established quality procedures. Promote a positive work environment and contribute to professional development and knowledge sharing within the team. Preferred candidate profile: Bachelors or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Civil Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field Initial experience in the design and analysis of high-voltage transmission lines is an advantage (entry-level candidates are welcome) Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations Experience with planning and analysis software is desirable Strong analytical skills and technical understanding Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work Good teamwork and communication skills Proficiency in written and spoken English (German skills are a plus) Willingness to travel aboard and visit project sites
