For our expansion and development as Crew Management and Recruitment Service for our esteemed Principals worldwide we are seeking an experienced Crew Manager. Role Description This full-time, on-site Crew Manager role is based in Mumbai Central Suburbs. The Crew Manager will Conduct recruitment, select and propose qualified crews for vessel of our Principal. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for RPSL company and MLC 2006. Manage, maintain certification and records of crew in database, after verification. Follow up and provide necessary support to crew for timely renewal of certificates and documents to ensure readiness. Enforce safety protocols and address/implement crew welfare policy. Collaborate with vessel , principal and external vendors worldwide to ensure smooth crew readiness and mobilization to fulfill requirements. e.g. Medical, Visa, Travel and other relevant vendors for operations. Conduct/Co-Conduct briefing and debriefing of Crew before deployment and after EOC. Identify training needs of the crew before next assignment. Maintain detailed records and address any performance issues or emergent needs effectively. Be strong collaborator and have influencing skills to drive the organizational development and builds relationship with Principal and Crew. Qualifications and Experience Experience in crew management, including recruitment, scheduling and compliance with MLC regulations. Familiarity with maritime training, certification processes and crew welfare standards. Strong leadership, organizational and conflict resolution skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with technical, operational, and administrative teams to ensure smooth crewing operations. Proficiency in using crew data management software and maintaining accurate records. Understanding cruise ship operation is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or a related field is advantageous. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. Familiarization with the Company’s Crew Management Manual, procedures and policies will be provided to ensure alignment with internal systems and regulatory requirements.
