ABOUT THE ROLE Golden Jackal Studios is building one of Indias first AI-first kids animation studios. Were looking for a hands-on AI Animation Generalist who can take a script and convert it into a polished animated video using modern generative tools. Youll work on: Kids nursery rhymes Short-form character animations Long-format character-driven series Environments, props, and simple 3D elements You won’t need to write scripts. Your core responsibility is bringing scenes to life using AI tools across image, video, audio, and VFX. This role is ideal for someone who is creatively inclined, loves experimenting, learning new tools and technology and creating high-quality visual output quickly. WHAT YOU’LL DO CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Image & Frame Generation Convert scripts and shot lists into base frames Use AI tools (Midjourney, Nano Banana, ComfyUI, SDXL, DALL•E) Maintain character and style consistency Clean up faces, hands, lighting, and other artifacts AI Video Generation Turn frames into smooth video sequences Use tools like Kling, Runway, Pika, Veo, Lumalabs Fix artifacts and continuity issues Create wide, medium, and close-up shots Pipeline Ownership Document workflows, presets, and styles Maintain a library of characters, environments, and assets Prepare for automation as AI models evolve Keep track of new generative tools and updates Quality Control Check for character consistency Fix visual continuity issues Ensure final output is clean, polished, and kid-safe PREFERRED: Audio & Voice Generate background music using Suno/Udio Create dialogue or voiceovers with ElevenLabs or similar tools Sync lips and expressions to dialogue Adjust pacing, timing, and tone Light VFX & Compositing Add simple VFX (particles, lighting, motion, props, character attributes) Clean up and enhance scenes using CapCut or After Effects Improve transitions and shot flow Video Editing Edit selected shots on Adobe Premiere Pro Add AI/stock music, sound effects, transitions Basic color grading REQUIRED SKILLS Tools Gemini / Claude / ChatGPT Midjourney / DALL•E / Nano Banana Kling / Veo 3 / Runway Topaz / Magnific / Enhancor Suno / Udio for music ElevenLabs for voices Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Premiere Pro / Adobe After Effects Lip-sync tools Lora Training (optional) Comfy UI and various Open Source Models (optional) Basic Blender knowledge (optional) Creative Strengths Storytelling and storyboarding awareness Good visual sense (lighting, framing, style) Ability to maintain consistent characters Good understanding of narrative timing and pacing Mindset Loves experimenting with new tools Learns fast and iterates quickly Detail-oriented Creatively adaptable and can ideate Comfortable working independently NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS: Experience in animation, VFX, motion graphics, or short-form content Understanding of 2D/3D animation basics Experience creating kids’ or character-based content EDUCATION: We care more about your work than your degree.
