About the Role

GoHighLevel Automation & Integrations Engineer

Youll take ownership of GoHighLevel across 15–20 client accounts, the automations connecting those systems, and the AI solutions built on top of them.

What You’ll Work With

1. GoHighLevel (GHL) — End-to-End

• Agency-level setup, sub-accounts, snapshots, user roles, and permissions
• Advanced workflows with branching, conditional logic, wait steps, and re-entry rules
• Custom fields, custom objects, custom values, smart lists, and segmentation
• Pipelines, opportunity stages, calendars, round-robin booking, and reminders
• Funnels, websites, forms, surveys, and memberships
• LC Phone, LC Email, Twilio, Mailgun, and A2P 10DLC registration
• Conversation AI, Workflow AI, Marketplace apps, API v2, and webhooks
• Dashboards and client reporting

2. Automation, AI & Engineering

• n8n / Make / Zapier:

  Complex workflows, retries, error handling, and duplicate prevention

• Voice AI:

  GHL Voice AI, Retell, Vapi, speech-to-text, and LLM integrations

• AI Integrations:

  OpenAI/Claude APIs, prompt engineering, structured outputs, basic RAG, and AI chatbots

• Messaging Integrations:

  Website chat, WhatsApp Business API, and SMS

• APIs & Webhooks:

  REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, pagination, rate limits, and idempotency

• JavaScript:

  Writing, reading, debugging, and improving existing code

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven, hands-on experience building real workflows and systems in GoHighLevel
• Ability to explain the number of GHL sub-accounts managed and the projects delivered
• Strong experience with n8n, Make, or Zapier, along with JavaScript
• Practical experience with API and webhook integrations
• Exposure to Voice AI, LLMs, or speech-to-text systems
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Technical Assessment

Shortlisted candidates will complete a short, paid technical task based on a real-world GoHighLevel and automation scenario. Your time and effort will be compensated.
