The role involves driving business development for water and wastewater treatment solutions (WTPs, STPs, ETPs, RO, UF, ZLD, etc.), managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers and the technical team. Key Responsibilities- · Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and municipal water & wastewater sectors. · Generate leads through client visits, networking, consultants, and contractors. · Understand client requirements, analyze water/wastewater quality data, and propose appropriate treatment solutions. · Prepare and present technical & commercial offers, tenders, and BOQs. · Collaborate with design and project teams to finalize system specifications. · Negotiate with customers and close orders while ensuring profitability. · Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth. · Maintain relationships with key accounts, consultants, EPCs, and government contractors. · Provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitor analysis. · Ensure customer satisfaction and support during project execution. Qualifications & Skills · B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related engineering. · 2–5 years of experience in sales of water/wastewater treatment systems (freshers with strong aptitude may be considered). · Strong technical knowledge of STPs, ETPs, WTPs, RO, UF, clarifiers, aeration systems, blowers, pumps, etc. · Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. · Ability to understand P&IDs, layouts, and basic process design. · Proactive, target-driven, and willing to travel across Maharashtra.
